Capt. Maine L. York is the son of a Human Mother who happens to teach ethics at the star fleet accademy and Father is a member of the Q continuum . He was raised on earth and has never met his father. Capt. York has a very limited amount of what we would call the power of the "Q" however he never uses his power, in fact he trys to keep the fact that he's half "Q"" hidden from everyone

Welcome to the fleet. I don't think I have seen a half Q yet, but canon does support Q living unknowingly among mortals so it could work well as a rp concept.
