I'm a life long Star Trek fan and a life long gaming addict. Gaming experience including World of Warcraft, and Zelda, as well as various strategy PC titles like Rome: total war, Command and Conquer, and Age of Empires.

As a young boy he was pressed to succeed into a starfleet career. With a long line of family that served on well known ships like his Great Grand Father an Operations Officer on the Enterprise-B (served on the mission James Kirk was killed), His Grand Father on the USS Farragut (Deputy Chief Engineer), and his father and mother both who served as science officers (his father on the USS Bosman ) and his mother (who helped on the study of a prototype warp core). Dettrey attended Starfleet academy and graduated ahead of his class in three years. He was promoted to ensign and assigned to a Federation Starbase just outside of the Klingon/Romulan boarder. There he saw many battles, and many more standoffs as a member of the security team. After receiving a small commendation for restoring shield power in the heat of battle, just after a year on assignment he was promoted to Lieutenant JG and transferred to the Starfleet Corps of Engineers, specifically to the Excalibur Class Starship project, running prototype tests of various new systems.

After a small feud with a superior officer about Warp Coils, he was then transferred to the USS Mitchel and was confined to Ten Forward for 3 months as a cook (surprisingly the food started to taste a lot homeier) Upon recommendation from his Commandant at the Starbase of his first assignment, LTjg Dettrey was assigned to the bridge crew as a helmsman.

His career on the Mitchel Prospered and he was quickly elevated to First officer after four years and three field promotions later. He remained at the post for 2 years.

Upon hearing the Federation may be going to war and that the USS Mitchel was being recalled to patrol the alpha quadrant, He was then granted command of the USS StormCrow and requested immediate transfer to Red Squadron considering his desire for glory and knowing the long history of Red Squadron. Pending hearing from Strarfleet command about receiving the Rank of Captain if he is approved for transfer to Red Squadron, he waits for the door.....
