Bio: easy going and a bit laid back Captain Butters’ command style has raised more than a few eyebrows at HQ. Possessing a high intellect epically in the areas of the past and on tactics. The captain is a rather good point man Recently accepted as RECCA Leader of Red Squad Captain Butters usually the one either leading the flanking charge or campaigning for cooler head to prevail. Perfectly fine with battles and violence, but a kind hearted man in reality who’s first priory is to his crew.

Bio Once a member of the Imperial Guard Telru joined the red squad as a military adviser. A veteran of many campaigns against the Orion Crime Syndicate confident to a fault and vary forward he balances the captains easy going manner. He and Butters First meet on Andoria where they were forced to wroked together and despiet a rocky start he evently grew t respect his Captain

Bop: A hacker from his early teens he is both famous as well as infamous in Starfleet security, there are few who know as much about cyber secrecy. One of his most well known hacks is the time he hacked into the Starfleet main core to send all the brass a Christmas letter/jobinterview. A little on the small side he more than makes up for it with his ingenuity, once in a war game during his senior year at the academy he used nothing more that a old modified tricorder and his combadge to both collapse his opponents COM system but track there positions giving his team the advantage and ending on ot the shortest war games in recent history.

Chef Medical: Cho’aire Bajoren

Bio though most Bajorens returned to Bajor after the Demonian War her grandparents left the refuge camp and went to Betazed for a better life. Her grand mother was a healer with combat medicine experience and taught her and her mother all that she knew. Graduating from the Betazed Medical academy she soon got a posting at the local federation headquarters. When the position came along to have a posting on a small starship with a high likelihood for combat she jumped on it. Friends describe here as reserved and aloof and to a large extent practical in all things. This givers here the ability to make do and do a lot with vary little.

Chef Engineer: Richard (Mac) McCarthy Human
Homeworld: Jupiter, Ganymede City

Bio long time friend of the captain from the academy days Mac was also fascinated by the mechanical wonders of the world. Mac has a vary keen and perceptive mind that he prefers to hind under he rugged Australian Bushman persona. He is a giant of a man who almost did not make it through the academy because of he difficulty making it through the Jeffery’s Tubs to access the ship components. Stuck doing odd jobs across the federation he was ecstatic to here the his good friend Butters mad captain and was giving him the post of chef engineer. Him and the captain have been known to spend the night talking about everything they can imagine.

Bio: In the Case of Lt Commander Anderson it is hard to decide if he is reckless or vary skilled born on Risa the young Anderson developed a love of being a adrenalin junkie. Permitted to use anything that flies Don is one of the best helmansmen in the fleet. Commander Telru Is a father figure to him and shares the commanders arrogant streak

Bio: It is jokingly said that Vernal would have made admiral long ago if he ever bothered to lookup from his workstation. From the old school pops takes a no nonsense approach to science. Ironically before his posting to the Archangel he retired from Starfleet once at 45 to work at the Dastrum Institute and teach theoretical quantum physics part time. When for resins only he knows he returned to Starfleet at the age of 63 as Chef science officer.

Captain Turak Katase in Command

Captain Turak's Bio:
Early Life

Born to a Vulcan mother and Human father, Turak Katase had a somewhat turbulent life. His mother was killed within a year of his birth, so Turak was raised by his Human father. Unlike most mixes of Vulcan and other species, Turak was raised with a more Human upbringing. During his early school years, he was looked down on by most Vulcans and was an object of curiosity for the rest. This early seclusion shaped Turak Katase into a fairly introverted boy. He tended to shut himself away and read books on all sorts of science topics, ranging from temporal mechanics, to quantum mechanics, subspace theory, and xenobiology.


Starfleet Academy

At age 18, Turak Katase enrolled in Starfleet Academy. In the entrance exams, Turak did excellent on everything except for the psych test, which almost cost him his admission. By this point, Turak's powerful Vulcan emotions would cause him to become erratic, sometime even dangerous to himself. His admission to the academy was under the restriction that he must diligently study some method of discipline. Turak chose Kendo, which originated from his father’s homeland. While this was not exactly what Starfleet had in mind, they accepted it on the condition that it have the results they desired. During his time at Starfleet Academy, Turak joined Red Squad, a league of elite cadets. Turak participated in the sabotage of the global power distribution center in 2372. After this event came to light, Turak resigned from Red Squad. Turak graduated in 2375.


USS Vancouver
2375

Once Turak graduated from Starfleet Academy in 2375, he was assigned to the USS Vancouver, a Nebula class starship. His stay on the ship was very brief, when the ship was lost in the Second battle of Chin’toka. The captain of the Vancouver ordered all hands to abandon ship after it was hit by a Breen energy draining torpedo. Most of the Vancouver’s crew, including Ensign Turak, survived the battle.


USS Okinawa
2376-2384

After the Battle of Chin’toka, Ensign Turak Katase was assigned aboard the USS Okinawa as a member of the science team onboard. He had an uneventful stay on the Okinawa, with his only promotion in the time being from Ensign to Lieutenant Junior Grade.


USS Blackthorne
2384-2390

In 2384, Turak requested a transfer to the deep space exploration vessel Blackthorne. He served as a junior science officer aboard the ship until the year 2387. On stardate 64285.36, the USS Blackthorne was exploring the galactic edge in the Gamma Quadrant when it was caught in a severe subspace anomaly. Lieutenant Turak Katase was able to devise a plan to separate the ship from the anomaly, but not before the ship was heavily damaged. The senior science officer along with 23 other crewmen were lost during this incident. Turak was given a field promotion to Lieutenant commander and took a role in the command staff. Lieutenant Commander Turak Katase served as the second officer of the Blackthorne until his transfer in 2390.


USS Norfolk
2390-2399

In 2390, Turak was promoted to the rank of commander and became the first officer of the science vessel Norfolk. In 2395, the current commanding officer retired and Captain Tiffany Vecter took over. With this change, the ships mission changed to a study of cosmozoan species, specifically ones that could travel at warp speed. During this mission, a romance developed between Captain Tiffany Vecter and Commander Turak Katase. In 2399, the two decided to marry, and to avoid a conflict of interest, Commander Turak transferred off the ship


USS K’shal and Gamma-13
2399-2408

After his marriage, Commander Turak transferred to the USS K’shal which was attached to the research station Gamma-13. The point of this research station was study the Bajoran wormhole and try to understand what kept it stable. The station was situated in the Idran system in the Gamma Quadrant due to some minor Bajoran religious extremists who didn’t want the “Temple of the Profits” to be studied in a scientific way. After many years of trials, the researchers were able to stabilize a micro-wormhole big enough to send a probe through. The researches set the terminal end of the wormhole to unexplored regions near the border of the Gamma and Delta Quadrants. A probe was sent through successfully, but as soon as an unknown alien ship attacked the probe and the subspace connection to the probe was lost, the wormhole imploded. The resulting subspace tear quickly expanded, destroying the research station. Due to heroics during the accident, Commander Turak was promoted to Captain and given command of the USS Vandread.


USS Vandread
2408-present

In 2408, after Captain Turak’s promotion and transfer, his wife resigned from Starfleet and joined him aboard the Vandread as a civilian researcher. After hearing about the potential discovery of an Iconian gateway relic in the Gamma Quadrant by members of Red Squad, Captain Turak submitted a transfer request to Admiral Quin Draco. His request was approved and Captain Turak was appointed Head of Operations.


Physical Description

Captain Turak Katase is a tall male of Vulcan and Human ancestry. He has black hair cut very short, with no facial hair. He has the traditional pointed Vulcan ears and slanted Vulcan eyebrows, but in addition, his eyes are also slanted due to some Japanese ancestry.

Off in a distant corner of Alpha quadrant on the marsh covered planet of Sholan the reptilian race of Pladians have finally broken the barrier of space travel and discovered warp technology. After first contact by the Federation, it is decided that in order to develop lasting relations with the Federation a few hopefuls are to be sent to join the academy.

Gambino Polter 23yo Pladian
I grow up just outside the city of Ladgin, near the marsh forest of Degobah. Much of my youth was spent listening to my father talk about past wars, our ancestry, and tales of his experiences flying in all parts of the world. My mother showed me intriguing plants and animals and would tell about her work trying to save them from the folly of expanding without thinking of nature.

Father: Girg Polter was a military pilot for 25 years before they revoked his license for crashing into a settlement when the propulsion unit on his flier malfunctioned. No one was hurt, damage was minimal, and the cause of the malfunction is unknown, but he is no longer allowed take to the air. He now works out of the house playing with aerodynamics for new plains and gets to spend more time with the family.

Mother: Linas Polter is a part time science researcher for wildlife preservation and agricultural development. Because most of our planet is marshlands, developing areas to grow food and resource plants while keeping in mind the balance of the environment is a challenging goal she takes to heart.

I do have two siblings: An older sister that isn’t worth talking about because she spends most her time chasing boy’s tails, and a younger brother who will no doubt follow in my foot steps and try and join Starfleet if he ever gets his head out of the clouds and into a book. I do like to use the Earth saying that he is “Green with envy” when I talk to him, even though he has always had a green tint.

Starfleet Academy: Of the fifty-odd hopefuls sent to the Starfleet Academy only a handful passed the entrance exam and allowed to participate. I enrolled straight for the Engineering degree because, and I have no doubt the incident with my father plays a part, that keeping your ship at its fullest will serve it more that anything else. I do have to say that the Academy was not at all what I expected. The dryness of Earth, the over hostile attitude that many students put forth, and the grueling schedule of the Academy that sometimes was almost to much, not to mention that this was the first time that I was so far from my family and friends. But, even though I did go though some hard times, as I sit in my room after going across that stage and am now looking forward to my first assignment, I would have to say that I would do it again.

The Falkirk Class does look cool, good call. Nice job on the Bio.

Jay Allen is a changling from the Gamma Quadrent that got tierd of thoose Vorta. He got command of the U.S.S. Catfish which was distroied be klingons when Jay was on shore leave. The U.S.S. Utah is a 24th centery vessal but has mordern weapons, armor, and a cloak.

Race: Vulcan and Kanslis

I am from the farthest corner of the Delta Quadrant, from a very tiny, somewhat dim planet called Eleve. Eleve is the farthest planet from the sun in their solar system, so it doesn,t get very bright or hot. Eleve was inhabited by a race of humanoids called the Kanslis (plural). The Kanslis are peace loving, hospitable, extremely sensitive, kind of touch feely people (similar to earth's hippies.) They love everyone. They are very slow to anger, don't have weapons and are not trained for combat. But they do have individual triggers that when they do get angry a Kanslin can go into a fit of blind rage where everything in their path can and will be destoyed. One very angry Kaslin can have the potential to radiate destructive energy equivalent to an 7.0 earthquake ( rare cases), but only when pushed to the limit or triggered. The Kanslis keep calm by periodically jumping into the clarifying fountain which has similar chemical properties to water. A major weakness is high degree of luminosity greater than on Eleve which can make a Kanslin weak and ultimately kill them. Another weakness is weaponry because the Kanslis are unaware of weapons and combat

Distinguishing Characteristics
The Kanslis are generally around 4 ½ to 5ft tall. Skin color is brown or tan with light iridescent tints between hues of green, purple and blue. They age very well. An elderly Kanslin looks as old as a 30 year old human. The eyes of the Kanslis are unique. When calm, loving and at peace, their eyes are pearl white, various shades of pink, purple, blue or brown. But when disturbed, the eyes will progressively change color from yellow to orange to red and then black being the angriest. Biologically, the Kanslis have great regenerative abilities to heal themselves over a short time and very knowledgeable about healing and the area of science.

My mother T'Purl, a Vulcan, met my Father Beetu, a Kaslin while on exploration of the planet Eleve. Later later they fell in love and were married. Then I, Nilana was born. I was raised by the Kanslis culture but was taught the Vulcan culture at home. I learned to embrace both cultures equally and can live comfortably among either race. One day I was on a small craft with my parents as a young adult. We were on not far from home. My mother was teaching my father how to fly the ship. Then out of nowhere a Borg vessel started to attack Eleve. The Kanslis didn't know how to defend themselves so they were like sitting ducks. The Kanslis anger were no match for the Borg. My mother fired on the Borg Vessel but then small Borg vessels flew out and fired back. We were in a fire fight and out numbered. Our ship was getting destoyed and we couldn't do anything about it. We had to abandon ship. We had two excape pods. Each one could fit two. My parents jumped in one and I jumped into the other. We were suppose to detach from the ship together. Mine left the ship but my parents were stuck. The Borg kept firing and my parents and our ship was destroyed. While floating away I watched the assimilation and annihilation of the Kanslis and my home Eleve. Eleve is no more and I am the only surviving member of my race. Deeply saddened and scared, I put my escape pod on auto pilot and drifted aimlessly and I cried myself to sleep.

After what seemed like an eternity, I finally woke from my slumber to find that I'm picking up speed uncontrollably. I looked up and found that I'm headed into a black hole. I take the craft off of autopilot and put on the reverse thrust to back away. After much effort I saw that it was useless to keep trying. I was using to much energy. The pull that was coming from the hole was so great. I was going and I couldn't stop. So I decided to just let go and let it take me. I didn't have anything left anyway. So I strapped in, closed my eyes and hoped for the best. There I go, into the unknown. Once I came out the other side, I drifted into this unfamiliar territory. My ship is distressed and I'm now low on resources. Later, a Federation ship spotted me and communicated with me. I told them what happen and they beamed me aboard their ship. Thats how I was introduced to Starfleet. Later on after the academy, I meet Tython Devens, fall in love and get married.
