She was born and raised in London. Her father was a physician and had aspirations for his eldest daughter to follow his career. But as a teenager, Katherine developed an interest for diplomacy. However, she loved her father very much and studied medicine at Starfleet Academy. She served as the Chief Medical Officer onboard the USS Endeavour and USS France. She gained the rank of lieutenant commander. Her father passed away when she had worked ten years as a doctor. She finally experienced some freedom to do as she wished. Her sister supported her. The young Katherine decided to study diplomacy and it was discovered that she had quite the talent for it. She was involved in the Dominion War, the Khittomer accords and other diplomatic missions, where she excelled. Recently, she has been working at the Federation embassy on Qo’noS.
